A few weeks ago we spoke in an article about Classic films seen by shoes. This time we bring you a selection of some of the most successful – and most stylish – television series. Let’s start the list:
Set in the 60s, Don Draper, Roger Sterling and the other characters have been turned into icons of that era. Janie Bryant, stylist in charge of achieving the style of each of them, play with the combination of pure dinner suit combined with perfect Oxford, with more ‘casual’ looks like blazers complemented with scarves and Monk style shoes.
Menswear dispute prominence with the storyline of Pearson & Hardman, the most powerful law firm in New York. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) wears costumes office with an elegance worthy of mention, with large ‘V’ lapels and jackets conjoined with Derby style shoes. This type of footwear is similar to that wears Mike Ross, another of the ‘Protas’ that looks more youthful and fresh with tailored suits and fine ties.
Luxury and excess. The Daniel Grayson’s outfits, firstborn heir, does not go unnoticed: he combines more informal and light-coloured summer looks with impeccable suits jackets, while Nolan Ross, another young billionaire, dress in a preppy style with overlapping of pieces, prints and colours. Nolan chooses shoes with wide shovel Loafer. In the Andrés Sendra’s collection, they are the 12363 Mack Sea Suede or 12363 Mack Red Dirt Suede would be one of the chosen without hesitation: style and bright colours equally.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
Funny and witty is a fashion icon for which supplements -such as ties- have a prominent role. Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) has everything, down to the last detail, well studied. And the shoes would not be less: the model Oxford 11780 Evans Antic Black is the model that reminds us the most of this TV handsome man.
Sure you would included some other series in your selection, so why do not tell us as a comment? We wait for it!
